InSitu – For the Widget Art Gallery I worked using an App (Matter) on my phone device – rather than a software on pc – respecting the identity of the WAG itself, in order to create a perceptive noise of the room. By transparency and deformation of the angles of the WAG interior architecture, the gif-animation draws another vision of the showroom space.

The alternative 
to physical space comes when I’ve realized that the concept of possession has given way to the access. So was born the idea of having an exhibition space available always and everywhere. Due to our needs that seem to be increasingly handheld, WAG was born on 2009. The Widget Art Gallery is a mini single art gallery room that fits into people’s pocket. The virtual gallery-room, every month, directly on people’s mobile, hosts a solo digital art exhibition related and inspired to the dynamic site-specific contest. 
So, the WAG works both as a sort of kunsthall showing temporary exhibitions and as a permanent collection museum, conserving all the past exhibitions inside an online archive. »
